The Minnesota State Fair is roughly three hundred acres and twelve days, and almost nobody sees more than a corner of it. This is the whole catalogue I keep for the app, made browsable: 1,201 individual things — stands, shops, buildings, barns, rides and new foods — each with where on the grounds to find it. It is unofficial, it is free, and it is the same data the app runs on.

Why this exists
I built MN Fair Guide because the fair is genuinely hard to navigate: three hundred acres, a few hundred thousand people, and a network that stops working somewhere around mid-morning on a Saturday. Everything indexed here is in the app too, where it works with no signal at all inside the gates — the map, walking directions, and search by what you actually feel like eating. This site is the version a search engine can read.
