Fresh French Fries
Founded in 1973, Fresh French Fries has been serving fresh-cut fries at the Minnesota State Fair for more than 50 years, growing from small street-side portable booths into larger permanent buildings staffed by an extended "FFF family" that now includes employees whose parents once worked there. The potatoes are Minnesota-grown at Hayes Farm in Big Lake and picked just days before they are cooked - roughly 400,000 pounds over the fair's 12 days. The fries are gluten-free and kosher-certified, cooked in trans-fat-free vegetable oil and served with ketchup or vinegar for dipping.
